Presented in Cannes during the last TFWA (Tax Free World Association) world exhibition, the H. Upmann Magnum 56 Jarre was produced in a limited edition and is exclusively intended for Duty Free and Travel Retail outlets. Each copy contains 20 H. Upmann Magnum 56, a vitola exclusive to the brand’s catalog.
Its first appearance dates back to 2015 with the release of the H. Upmann Magnum 56 in Edición Limitada. The Magnum 56 is a vitola of choice for aficionados who appreciate the thick formats and the aromas of the Magnum line blend, characterized by its elegance and its power evolutions ranging from light to medium.
Like all cigars in the H. Upmann Magnum line, the cigars in the H. Upmann Magnum 56 jar are covered with a double ring. The first is the brand’s classic ring and the second is stamped “Magnum 56”. Besides the aging of at least two years of the wrapper and tripe leaves, the only way to differentiate the two cigars is the presence, or not, of the third ring characteristic of Edición Limitada.
The H. Upmann Magnum 56 jar has a rather classic style reminiscent, with the exception of the lid, of the 2007 H. Upmann Magnum 46 jar produced exclusively for Germany and Switzerland. The latter, produced in Spain, was a special order from the respective official Habanos importers of these two countries.
On the front of the jar is the H. Upmann logo, surrounded by numerous gold medals. These are a testament to those won by the brand during its various participations in international exhibitions between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Note also the presence of a reminder of the second ring “Magnum 56” at the base of the jar.
