The H. Upmann Connossieur A is rolled exclusively for the Casa del Habano, it is a large cigar wrapped in a relatively light wrapper. This imposing new vitola in the hand features an exclusive ring bearing the name of the cigar. Easy to light, quickly produces a full, rich and slightly tannic smoke. The aromatic profile changes during tasting. Some notes of salted butter caramel mingle with white pepper. We are closer to the brand’s Magnum 50 than to the Connoisseur No.1.
The power in the second third is more present with a slight touch of black tea aroma, taking up this subtly tannic side of the first puffs. The finish is conclusive with a more intense concentration of cedar wood aromas.
